This was the highlight of Cappadocia! Just outside the village of Goreme is the Goreme Open-Air Museum (Goreme Acik Hava Muzesi). The museum is a collection of chapels, churches, monasteries and other living spaces, carved from the rock during the early years of Christianity. This picture shows a few rooms that have eroded to the point that only the inner wall still exists.
