Zion Canyon, Zion National Park, Utah

		I visited Zion's main canyon early in the morning, just after a storm cleared.

		The valley really traps the cold air, which made for some very clear conditions.

		Many of the trails up to the canyon rim were closed due to ice. Visitors are largely confined to the canyon floor just after snow.



		Yosemite valley doesn't seem so special anymore, huh?

		I have quite a few pictures in this sequence. I simply could not edit these pictures down any more! I find Zion canyon to be far too fascinating to sum up in just a few snaps.
