I pulled off of I-80 between Elko and Wells at a spot on the map called Halleck, and
headed south on Nevada Hwy 229.
The fresh snow, a fine coating of ice, and a mountain pass called 'Secret Pass': Perfect.
The 'Secret Pass' is, paradoxically, clearly labeled by the highway department.
