I visited Stockholm about five months after visiting Oslo, Norway. It's hard not make comparisons. Stockholm is much bigger, wealthier and, in some ways, more picturesque. I visited in the late fall, when it is dark, damp and really rainy. I'd imagine it is best to visit in the summer.
